Global climate change is a phenomenon that cannot be ignored. Especially in the summer, farmers are faced with problems caused by heat stress. Environmental temperatures above the upper critical limit cause deterioration of performance and welfare. Preparation for heat periods is important. The article summarizes the main principles that must be followed to minimize losses and ensure animal welfare.
