Abstract

Silages are sampled to determine the quality of the organoleptic, chemical and microbial. Depending on the quality of silage, animal feeding strategies or use in biogas plants are developed. Regular as well as one-off analysis of silage samples makes it possible to compile a more accurate composition of feed rations for animals. Silage analysis can reveal potential problems to be faced in animal nutrition and feeding in a timely manner.
