Abstract | The variability of microbiological and chemical parameters of sheep milk during lactation was monitored on 3 farms. Individual samples as well as tank ones were evaluated. Total bacterial count (TBC), coliform bacteria (CB), Escherichia coli (E.coli), yeasts and moulds were the main microbiological parameters. The quality of stables and hygiene of udders prior to milking were monitored. Total fat, casein, protein, lactose and solids non fat concentrations were the chemical parameters determined using the MilcoScan FT2 equipment. |
