Abstract | Paper deals with the selected indicators in a herd of dairy cows on the basis of data collected by the 80 dairy farms in the Czech Republic in the year 2014. It was shown significant relationship between age at first calving and milk yield. Appropriate instrument evaluation of reproduction is often used abroad a complex indicator Pregnancy Rate, which reached in our conditions about 22%. There was also lactation day evaluated. For the calculated average dairy herd we need 7-11 pregnancies every week and 3-5 insemination each day. Heard Structure of the farms approach the ideal distribution by lactation mainly in group of Holstein breeds, as well as the proportion of cows in the dry period of number of dairy cows is based on an economically advantageous ratio to 15%. The group of companies has only 29% of farms somatic cell count to 200 thousand/ml., where the requirement for the success of breeding cows is 70% to 100 thousand/ml. The current situation on the milk market is characterized by a decline in milk prices, which will result in loss in milk sector where for equilibrium of costs and revenues is needed according to break-even point minimum price of CZK 8.43/liter. |
