Abstract

In 2015 average milk yield per cow in a group of 87 Czech milk farms was 8 324 liters, at all Czech 376 thousand cows 8,001 liters and at 357 thousand cows in performance recording 8 537 kg. In comparison with 2014, there was an increase in milk production per cow of 211 liters, 296 liters and 167 kg, respectively 2.5, 3.8 and 2.0 %. In preparation for the situation after the abolition of milk quotas between 2013 and 2015 increased the sale of milk processing in the Czech Republic by 8.8 % and in the EU-28 by 7.1 %. Despite the milk crisis, the volume of milk sold increased compared to 2015 in the Czech Republic for January to April 2016 by 2.9 % and in EU from January to March 2016 by 7.1%. In set of dairy farms is briefly analyzed the influence of market milk production, breed, production area and size and replacement herd on milk production and other production indicators.
