Abstract | The aim of this work was to monitor the presence of mastitis bacteria in a raw goat milk on two farms in the Czech Republic. The experiment included 222 milk samples from White-shorthaired goats. There were detected 77 samples of milk with bacterial finding. In the contaminated samples, the prevalence of the environmental strains of bacteria over the contagious strains was prevailed. The most commonly represented group of bacteria were coagulase-negative staphylococci. The somatic cells count in individual samples was also monitored. The goat’s milk without present of bacteria had statistically significantly lower the number of somatic cells than milk with the bacteria. |
