Abstract

There were 65 thousands diagnoses recorded in 44 thousands dairy cows during august 2018 – April 2019, which reflected the situation in 12 % of Czech dairy population. The most common diagnoses were clinical mastitis, sole ulcer, cystic ovary disease, metritis, digital dermatitis and lameness. Generally, the frequencies of all diseases / disorders was lower than that found in previous QCZ study. Genetic evaluation is already being provided for udder and claw diseases, and planned for reproductive disorders. However, the records of metabolic disorders are only sparse, and their eveluation is not feasible yet.
