Abstract | The use of conjugated linoleic acid in the diet of gilts and sows is one of the ways to achieve lower losses of piglets from birth to weaning and thus better economic results of pig production. The sows in experimental group obtained during the period from birth to weaning feed mixture with the addition of 2 % CLA. In this group of sows was found the reduction of parturition interval from 161 days to 156 days, which is subsequently reflected in the increased number of litters obtained per sow / year. Another benefit is the reduction of piglet losses in a period of from birth to weaning. |
