This work aimed to extend our current knowledge by obtaining novel information regarding the use of maize bran as a feed component in the diet for growing-fattening rabbits. The maize bran was compared with both the wheat bran and rye bran. It can be concluded that the dietary inclusion of maize bran had no negative effect on the growth perfotmance, feed efficiency, digestion of nutrients, or digestive health. Because of its nutritional properties, maize bran could replace traditionally used dietary energeticcomponents (cereal grains), thereby increasing the sustainability of rabbit diets.
