Conference: Use of Domestic Legumes in Practice Held on 13 November 2025 at 10:00 a.m., Pension In Vino, Dvorní Street 1028, 691 23 Pohořelice, Czech Republic On November 13, 2025, a professional conference focused on practical utilization of domestic protein crops in cattle breeding was held in Pohořelice. The conference was jointly organized by NutriVet s.r.o. and Research Institute for Animal Production, v.v.i. Prague-Uhříněves. The event was attended by 27 experts from practice, research institutes and Czech University of Life Sciences. The program included ten professional presentations covering a wide spectrum of topics from nutrient content and quality of legume silages, through the use of lupine in bull fattening, natural substances in nutrition, catch crops for cattle feeding, to aerobic stability of feeds and monitoring of maize stands by drone. A significant part of the program was devoted to results of experiments with faba beans and peas at various locations and evaluation of recommended varieties. The conference was an output of the NAZV project QK21010344 „Domestic Protein Crops in Cattle Nutrition“ and other projects supported by the Ministry of Agriculture. After the conference, a specialized workshop on feed preservation was held.
