Responsible use of antibiotics plays an important and irreplaceable role in livestock farming in ensuring an adequate level of health. Only proper treatment based on health assessment, diagnosis and effective treatment will lead to therapeutic success, ensure herd/flock welfare and help minimize the potential risk of developing antimicrobial resistance.
