Abstract

Current knowledge of udder infection in individual pathogens allows for a more accurate prognosis of antimicrobial treatment. Targeted early selection of cows with a subclinical mastitis associated with the diagnosis of the causative agent can determined a targeted treatment protocol and increase the effectiveness of treatment and thus improve the health status of the herd. The aim of the study was to evaluate the implementing of the regular monitoring system including data analysis, culturing of cows in risk of mastitis using the MicroMastTM (CZ) on farm culture system and to propose the individual treatment protocol in relation to antimicrobials consumption on the farm.
