Abstrakt

Spontaneous oocyte apoptosis was significantly suppressed after the pig oocytes matured in vitro and further cultured in vitro were treated simultaneously by calcium-dependent and calcium-independent isotypes of protein kinase C. Treated oocytes maintained developmental competence. After parthenogenetic activation, these oocytes are able to develop to the blastocyst stage.
