Abstrakt | We collected questionnaires from 128 stockpersons on 31 Czech dairy farms to examine three questions: (i) whether stockpersons personality traits, their attitudes and their age/experience were associated with farm performance indicators as milk yield, culling or veterinary expenses; (ii) whether stockpersons personalities and attitudes were related to their age, gender and duration of their experiences with cattle; and, (iii) how personality traits of stockpersons differed from Czech population. This study suggests that stockpersons differ in their personalities from general population and that their personalities might affect dairy farm performance. |
