| Abstrakt | Gas emission (NH3, CO2, CH4) from pig farms are a serious environmental and regulatory challenge, contributing to air pollution, ecosystem acidification, and health risks for both animals and humans. Effective strategies to reduce emissions include changing diets (in particular, reducing crude protein content), acidifying manure, using additives, improving housing and ventilation conditions, and advanced air cleaning technologies. These measures can reduce ammonia emissions by 20-90%, depending on the approach and farm conditions. Our technological approach includes managing housing (animal living area) and ventilation control without changes to daily breeding and feeding practices during the summer season. |
