Cattle production is one of the most important animal industries in the Czech Republic (CR). Suckler cows are the only cattle category with increasing numbers in a long-term. In 2017, there were totally 216,095 suckler cows in the CR. The aim of every breeder is to maximise profit given by the difference between income and expenses per herd and year, and suckler cow operations are no exception.
