Abstrakt

Based on the actual marginal economic weights (EW) calculated for current breeding objectives it can be concluded, that milk yield, milk fat and protein content and lifetime of cows remained the most important traits. Comparing to the previous calculation of EW the economic importance of clinical mastitis increased by 43 € per case and for lifetime decreased by 26 € (both expressed per cow and per year). Marginal EW are influenced by the local production and economic conditions and claw health and feed efficiency can be considered when the breeding objectives will be revaluated in the future.
