For modelling of production systems a different approaches are used in the litera­ture. Most of them are stochastic and deterministic simulations used i.e. to estimate selection response and level of inbreeding, to optimise breeding schemes (e.g. [2]) and to calculate economic values of traits ([1], [4] etc.).
