Abstrakt

The aim of this work was to study the effects of a diet supplemented with WL (Lupinus albus cv. Amiga) on FA composition and characteristics of hind leg meat and perirenal fat of growing-fattening rabbits related to human health. The results of this study show that a diet supplemented with whole white lupin seeds (Lupinus albus cv. Amiga) affected the fatty acid profile of growing-fattening rabbits. Additionally, indexes related to human health from hind leg meat and adipose tissue of rabbits were improved and could provide an important nutritional benefit to humans.
