Abstrakt

In this experiment, the contents of selected essential fatty acids in meat and backfat of pigs fed linseed diet (experimental group), and of pigs fed control diet were monitored. Statistically significant differences in fatty acids contents were found and thus, fatty acids profile changing by means of linseed diet in porcine muscle tissue and backfat is possible.
