Abstrakt

Genetic diversity in indigenous breeds is a major concern considering the necessity of preserving what may be a precious and irreplaceable richness with regard to new productive demands. Conservation should be based on a deep knowledge of the genetic resources of the specific breed. Therefore, it is important to try to characterize genetically indigenous breeds.
