Abstrakt | yield, the variance of deviations (LnVar), and the autocorrelations (Auto) in early lactation (from 50th to 150th day in milk) for Holstein cows with the aim of using them in breeding. The dataset included 3,347 lactations of 3,080 cows from ten farms, six with AMS, and 1,764 SNP-genotyped animals with data distributed in five herds. Using the animal model, we estimated the genetic parameters and genomic breeding values (GEBV) (with 10,228 genomic animals in the pedigree). This model employed fixed effects of the herd year season of calving, age*parity, and the random effects of permanent environment cows and animals included in the three-generation pedigree, 31,799 animals and the random residual. The heritabilities were 0.26 (Var), 0.19 (LnVar), 0.04 (Skew), and 0.10 (Auto). Genetic correlations were high (0.90) between Var and LnVar and low between Auto and Var (0.17) or LnVar (0.13). Based on the correlations between the breeding values of the bulls, the relationship between resilience indicators and milk production, reproduction and exterior traits has been confirmed. GEBVs for the analysed parameters differed among and in herds, with the possibility of selecting cows. |
