Abstrakt

The use of byproduct-based diet in rabbit feeding improved fiber digestibility and ether extract utilization without negatively affecting nitrogen retention, rabbit’s final live weight, or average daily feed intake. The altered pancreatic enzyme activity suggests a dietary adaptation to different nutrient sources. These findings support the potential of byproduct-based diets as a sustainable alternative to conventional feeds, reducing reliance on ingredients that compete with human food resources and land/use ratio.
