Abstract

Two types of maize hybrids – dent and semi-flint were used in the experiment. Harvest of whole plants were done in two phases of mature when there were ½ milk line (ML) and ¾ ML. Content of dry matter for dent hybrid at whole plant samples was found at ½ ML 32.58 % at ¾ ML it was 39.94 %. At hybrid semi-flint it was 32.82 and 40.16 %. Relevant values of effective degradability were 68.82 and 65.35 % or 66.43 and 60.66 %, resp., signifficantly low was only value 60.66 % (P
