| Abstract | Feed costs represent more than 50% of the total cost of pig production. A substantial part of the price consists of the price of feed grains and soybeans. Although the major part of farms use complete feed mixtures the need to reduce feed costs leads them to use their own grain production. The article discusses various ways to use farm´s own production of feed for pigs nutrition, especially for fattening category. |
