The article is focused on problems in pig breeding and improvement. There are two types of enterprises that control an improvement work, and then the pig population is divided into two groups according to an ownership of animals. The first group owns female animals (breeders, nucleus herds) and the second group owns male animals (AI stations). This stand causes unbalanced production of breeding animals.
