Abstract | The aim of this methodology was to provide for breeders routinely used methods and routines which are friendly to dairy cows, which lead to increasing safeness of cows and breeders, elimination of stressful and risk situations and to prevent minimization of production loses because of stressful situations. For practical evaluation breeding management level and quality was used “get near test”, which evaluates level of sociological – ethological interactions between breeder and cow and shows level of farm management and welfare. In this methodology are also described procedures how to stand up laying animals, techniques of head fixation, front and back legs, total fixation of cows in fixation boxes, cages etc. Conclusion of this methodology includes practical recommendation for field experience and forbidden procedures with dairy cows manipulation. |
