AUTUMN WORKS ON THE FIELDS OF THE NETLUKY FARM, A SPECIAL-PURPOSE FARM OF THE INSTITUTE OF ANIMAL SCIENCE, ARE IN FULL SWING

The plant production of the Netluky farm located on the outskirts of Prague is mainly focused on the production of grains and forages in the required quality, assortment and quantity for the needs of livestock production. The ensiling of the third cut of alfalfa and maize harvest was completed, followed by the plowing and preparation of the field for winter crops. The priority in crop production for the Netluky farm is soil, maintaining soil fertility and preventing soil erosion. Thanks to the incorporation of manure, a significant part of the nutrients removed from the soil by growing and harvesting agricultural crops is returned to the soil.
