Abstract

This work describes analysis of the development of the compared sperm characteristics in the 2 groups of boars kept in the same conditions with diametrically different content of morphologically abnormal spermatozoa (AS). The detected variations and prevailing stability in the AS occurence indicate hereditary characteristics of the spermatogenesis factor, of considerable persistence of the level of monitored characteristics and applicability of the AS presentation to selection for artificial insemination.
