Abstract

The methodology provides relevant information about the principle of infrared thermography (IRT), available measuring techniques, their qualities, the obtained temperature image and its correct interpretation. Furthermore, the methodology describes the principles and procedures of proper measurement of alive organisms (especially warm-blooded animals), but also draws attention to the limits and factors affecting the measurement of IRT.
