Complete feed mixture for fattening pigs contains linseed. The feed mixture improves fatty acid content and n-6/n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acid ratio in pork. The feed mixture was used in fattenin period ad libitum in 40 pigs. Pigs accepted the mixture without serious problems. The indigestion was not detected. The feed mixter did not negatively influence carcass value and meat quality parameters in pigs. In experimental group of pigs was found the positive effect of the mixture on essential fatty acids composition in muscle and fat samples. The n-6/n-3 PUFA ratio was reduced towards recommended level in experimental group.
