Biosecurity as an integral part of herd health management is an important requirement for the production of healthy and biologically wholesome raw materials and foodstuffs of animal origin. The aim of presented par was to express the effect of biosecurity precautions in a pig farm with the average of saws around 1200 pieces after implementation the biosecurity principles from the animal health and economical points of view. The results showed that introducing program of biosecurity TEKROCID in to the pig farm decreased average number of deaths pigs in all categories by 3.5%, its representing 2 241 225 CZK, and the total cost of the medication 746 725 CZK.
