Abstract | Sperm are usually evaluated from two perspectives – their ability to find and fertilize an ovulated oocyte in the female reproductive system and the quality of its DNA, which affects the sperm that it transmits to the genome of the future offspring. However, sperm also contain RNA, and it has recently been shown that it also plays a very important role. This article summarizes the findings on the importance of RNA in bull sperm. |
