The differences of the quality of maize silage in the bottom and in the top part of bunker silo

| Abstract | In two successive years, on three farm samples of maize silage were withdrown from the bunker silo, 1 m from the top (layer H) and 1 m from the bottom (layer S). In all parameters under study, the analytical results of the H samples were worthe than those of the S samples. In 2009, loses of dry matter and energy were greater, but molds were reduced, probably due to a higher content of acetic acid. |
