The lecture entitled „Maize silage hybrids and harvest quality affect the productivity of dairy cows“ was presented at the online corn symposium on October 12, 2022 at the headquarters of Strategy TV Zemědělec. The advantages and disadvantages of different types of corn hybrids were presented with regard to the influence in the digestive system of ruminants, especially dairy cows. Furthermore, the very significant influence of different types and quality of maize processing on the digestibility of starch and cell wall in particular was emphasized with regard to the production potential of dairy cows.
