Abstract

The aim of the experiment was to find out and to compare the changes of hair thermal-insulation in dairy cows (mothers) and calves (young). The results confirm that hair quality plays significant role in thermal condition resistance. Detected heat conductivity shows evidence of its good thermal ? insulation in calves and dairy cows. But increased air relative humidity disturbs significantly thermal insulation of hair.
