Abstract

The goal of the work was to assess the influence of corn hybrid and place of growing on nutrients contents and digestibility. The samples of whole corn plants from four middle-early hybrids grown at six places in the Czech Republic were analyzed on the NIRS device and chemically. No statistically significant differences (P > 0,05) were found between the individual hybrids in starch contents, neutral detergent fibre (NDF) and digestibility of organic matter and digestibility of NDF. But significant (P < 0,05) differences were found between places. Significant (P < 0,05) differences were found between analyses on NIRS device and chemical analyses, but with high correlation coefficient.
