Feed ratio for fattening pigs must provide sufficient amount of nutrients for optimal growth of animals. The attention is also paid to meat quality and its affection by the nutrition. Meat quality is influenced by many factors during pig rearing, fattening period, slaughter and technology of meat processing. Feed mixture based on cereals provides n-6 fatty acids and only small amount of n-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids. The components with higher proportion of n-3 fatty acids should be added to feed in order to meat fatty acid profile alternation.
