Abstract | In a periodic-group experiment in dairy cows, a statistically insignificant (P>0.05) difference (0.89 kg/day per animal) in increasing an average milk yield was found for the benefit of „shredlage“ silage. As well the production of FCM and ECM was higher. Among the average parameters of the rumen liquid any significant differences were recorded (P>0.05). When feeding „shredlage“ corn silage, the time of chewing became longer for 21.88 min/day on average. Health problems weren’t detected when feeding „shredlage“ corn silage. |
