The scientific conference with international participation „Current issues of animal bioclimatology 2023“ was divided into three thematic areas. On the one hand, works focused on the analysis of the impact of climate change and heat stress on livestock were presented, as well as the impact of livestock farming on the climate. In addition, papers presented in the second thematic area were dealing with the importance of observing the principles of prophylaxis and biosecurity as a basis for prevention and maintaining a good health status, the appropriate level of welfare of farm animals in order to reduce the consumption of antimicrobial substances and subsequently limit the risk of the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance. These contributions were followed by the issue of precision farming.
