Abstract

Breeders of dairy and beef cattle are trying to apply an appropriate way of feeding calves. In addition to nutrition, another important milestone in the development of calves is the administration of suitable additives, which can prevent health problems. Probiotics and prebiotics are sought after, but synbiotics or eubiotics are already coming to the fore.
