The workshop took place as part of a scientific conference with international participation „Current Questions in Animal Bioclimatology 2021“. The workshop presented works dealing with prevention – prophylaxis – biosecurity – resistance in animal husbandry, testing the effectiveness of disinfectants for African swine fever virus in livestock in experimental conditions on carriers and in conditions of housing facilities for farrowing sows, weaning piglets and fattening pigs, including factors affecting the effectiveness of disinfection, the impact of biosecurity on reducing the use of antimicrobials in pig farms and the proposal of appropriate biosecurity measures in pig farms.
