The present work is focused on the analysis of potential pathogens transmission on the pig farms by means of people, animals, vehicles, contaminated equipment, technological systems, feed, water and bedding, air, wild animals and with the emphasis on the implementation of preventive measures of biosecurity on hobby, small, large and organic farms. In compliance with the general principles of biosecurity is a prerequisite for the protection of animal and human health.
