Abstract | The methodology is focused on the increase of pasture vegetation intake by restriction of feed ration, the so-called limited feeding. Pasture vegetation is a source of grasses and clovers, but also insects and its consumption has a positive effect on the quality of meat and health of chickens. However, there is still little information available on comparing the performance and meat quality indicators of the chickens fed indoor in the halls on litter and those with the possibility of grazing in addition in combination with different levels of limited feeding. Therefore, the methodology brings new information about the the beneficial effects of lower feed rations in freely kept chickens on pasture on increasing the intake of pasture vegetation by chickens and about how the meat quality of so fattened chickens is inluenced. |
