On December 5, 2022, at the Research Institute of Animal Production, v.v.i. held a workshop entitled „Domestic legumes – economically and nutritionally valuable feeds and Results of the project „Long-term conceptual development of a research organization“. The workshop was organized by members of the Livestock Nutrition and Feeding Department and presented the results of the DKRVO project (MZERO0178) and NAZV „Domestic protein crops in cattle nutrition“ (QK21010344). Topics were presented: Testing feed quality using in vivo method; Nutritional value of amaranth for ruminant feeding; Harvesting and preservation of legumes grown at two sites; Preliminary results of the nutritional value of peas, broad beans, yellow and narrow-leaved lupins at the VÚŽV workplace, v.v.i. and Preliminary results of the nutritional value of peas at the workplace of NutriVet, s.r.o.
