The paper is focused on the analysis of the influence of heat stress on the calf organism and the proposal of measures to reduce the effects of heat stress on calves reared in outdoor individual hutches during the milk nutrition period. Limiting the negative effect of calf heat stress is possible mainly by adjusting housing condition and management.
