Abstract

The work isfocused on the analysisof the influence of the level of welfare on the health and consumption of antimicrobial substances in livestock. A low level of animal welfare manifests itself in increased mortality, impaired growth and development, increased morbidity, and immunosuppression. A high level of welfare has a direct and indirect effect on the safety and quality of food.
