There is need to implement effective hoof health management for lameness prevention. In case of infection diseases of the feet footbathing and topical antibiotic treatment of acute dermatitis digitalis (DD) lesions are included. Their successful implementation can significantly reduce the occurence of active lesions and antibiotics and footbath substances consumption on farms. The aim of the study was to evaluate influence of optimisation of management of the infection feet diseases on active DD lesions occurance and on antibiotics and footbath substances consumption.
