Abstract

The methodology provides users with a simple guide to antibiotic choices for food animals, which can be modified over time in relation to other new measures and regulations to meet the current needs of veterinary practitioners working in cattle, pig and poultry farms. The methodology in this form creates prerequisites for a systemic approach in solving the current tasks of antibiotic policy in the conditions of veterinary practice with the aim of limiting the consumption of antibiotics while maintaining the ability to use them rationally in order to restore the health of sick animals and improve the level of welfare of farm animals.
